Tori was in one of those residence hotels and bored. She decided to call her old buddy, Jennifer.

Jennifer had some ideas about how to help Tori's case of the sniffles.

Jennifer didn't have the sniffles, but she liked the cure.

Tori decided more volume was in order and got out the old red hot water bottle and her favourite "Silver Bullet" nozzle.

Jennifer decided a second one would be in order for her, too!

Sure enough, the first thing the girls did, once they got empty, was get hungry.

As we leave them, they're getting dressed to go out for dinner.

The Making of Jennifer and Tori

The Collector was in one of those residency hotels, having a boring Monday night, when he got an unexpected call from Tori, saying she was free to shoot a video. No sooner had he hung up with Tori than Jennifer rang. The Collector put two and two together and decided to put Jennifer and Tori together. They'd never met. How would they get on? How would they get off?

The local studio at Piper's place (you remember Piper from Soccer Moms) wasn't available, so the video would have to be shot in the hotel room. No problem.

The video lights were locked up at Piper's place. Problem.

The hotel had low-energy-consumption, ecologically-friendly light bulbs in every fixture. We've run into those bastards before, in the "201 Motels" series of videos, when we didn't always have proper video lighting available at the moments when enemates suddenly became available.

The lights are wonderful energy-savers and we truly love them, but their spectrum isn't the full shilling. It's seriously lacking in the blue end of things. The kindest thing we could say about what the bulbs do to video is that they give it a "soft, almost sepia-tone quality". A harsher assessment would be "jaundiced".

It's easy to take a pair of camcorders and a small tripod wherever you go in a case the size of a small briefcase. Lighting, and especially the associated hardware and stands, aren't so easy to fit in your carry-on. We've been caught out on several occasions, when proper lighting simply wasn't available, but interesting enemates were. We hope you share our feeling that, when gorgeouos enemates present themselves, it's better to capture some hot action with even the bed looking like it has a liver problem than to capture no action at all.
